Dear Parents,
We are proud to say that our school has Christian overtones! Our school is focused heavily on learning through play, kindergarten readiness, and setting the children up for academic success. However, we want to teach them more, and the most important thing we can teach them is that they are loved by God. No matter who they are, they are loved. Adding a Christian dimension to our school is both new and not so new. We have always celebrated the Christian holidays and always focused on solid character traits and values. By announcing that we are a Christian school we can no go into the details of why we celebrate the holidays and talk openly about God, Jesus, and the Bible.
We plan to implement the below core values into our curriculum. These will happen through a few minutes in the morning during circle time and again before nap in a short story. We do not plan to change our current academic curriculum. There is plenty of time in the day to add in a little love that we know will go a long way in their life.
